It’s TGIF!! We made it through another one!! Yahoo!! That alone makes me a “Happy Camper” even if we ARE staying home this weekend.
Speaking of Happy Campers, has anybody actually gotten their hands on a bottle of this Happy Camper wine yet? (Isn’t that called a segue or segway??) And, did you unscrew the cap and drink any of it? Yes, I said unscrew the cap – but, please don’t stop reading just yet.
Apparently, the company went with a screw on cap for the “campers”…..they must have been thinking of backpackers and tenters who are real short on space and weight limits. On the very top of my RV “Must Not Forget” list is toilet chemical and a corkscrew.
Shopping locally, I have not found this label yet. I may have to get more serious this weekend and actually make some phone calls. I hear that some KOA’s (with a license to do so) are offering it in their stores. There is also a phone number you can call on the Happy Camper website to see who is selling it in your state.
Airstream RV Blog #61 did a cute review:
Just like the guy in the video, I can say that my palate is not that refined, but I do know a good wine from a bad wine.
If I can’t locate it locally, I’m going to have to order from Amazon at: Happy Camper Wine $7.99 a bottle for all three varieties: Merlot, Cab or Chardonnay. If an Amazon order gets placed, I will have to throw in a box of these wine glass as well.
Lightweight, stemless and unbreakable sounds perfect for the RV, or the cement patio out back. Govino Flexible Shatterproof set of four from Amazon. And I am completely fascinated with the notched out place for your finger or thumb.
(Thinking of ordering from Amazon yourself?? You can click through on the links above and help support this meager blog as well!!)
If you’d like to know more about the company, click on this “getting to where life is good” image below.
If the thought of trying a new RV related wine isn’t enough to get you going, think of how cute this lamp will look on the dinette or dashboard in your RV. Directions for lamp can be found here.
Ok, it’s Friday……I’m not feeling all that creative, but this was on my mind. I’m really hoping one of you loyal followers, or fly-by readers will leave a comment and let me know if you’ve seen this or tried this. The reviews online are pretty good versus the price, so I’m going to keep looking for it.
Until next time, Happy Trails to You,
Janet, Randy and Molly
We received a bottle of Happy Camper as a gift a couple of years ago. It was pretty good. Afraid I’m not sure where it was purchased though. Keep us posted 🙂
I will certainly make a follow up post when located. I think someone should make a “Monaco Moscato”……..LOL!
haven’t seen the wine yet…but will pick up a bottle if I see it..nice lamp!
That’s right……it’s out in your area. You might stand a better chance of seeing it first. Let me know if you like it!
Can’t do wine…allergic to sulfates. But I love the glasses! Hope you find the wine!
I think those glasses would do justice to many other drinks as well. I will have to get them and post a followup comment on their quality. Thanks!!
Never heard of it but will keep an eye for it. If you get it first lets hear your report on it. Cheers !
I will certainly do a follow up. I wrote the vineyard, and he wrote me back and said it is only available at one outlet in Florida……an hour and a half away….so it may be awhile.
Love this post! We are currently in the pacific northwest and have a few Haggen Markets (listed on the distributor list) in the area. I hope they sell it!! Very cute.
What’s the weather like in the northwest right now?? Good luck in your quest for Happy Camper.
It’s starting to warm up a bit with daytime temps sometimes reaching into the 50’s – still rainy most days. You can certainly feel spring in the air though and not a moment too soon for me! 🙂
Hi – loving the glasses – wonder if I can get some posted to me in the UK!
Thank you Hiedi….not sure if Amazon ships to UK, but figured they do. You’ll have to let me know.
